Situationist International

SORRY I'M SO LATE IN DOING THIS.

For my SOCI/GSFS class about social protest, I was assigned to write on the "French Protest Posters of May '68" that are currently on display in the AMAM. After Arzu mentioned Situationist International in class the other day I decided to tie them and their theories into my paper.  I posted the content of my paper below.  Read as much or as little as you like.  Ultimately, I think artists like Sharon Hayes who combine activism and performance are closest to the truest definition of Artist.

Wordle

http://wordle.net/

Wordle is a toy for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes. The images you create with Wordle are yours to use however you like. You can print them out, or save them to the Wordle gallery to share with your friends.
